Category: Quick Start Guide

Last Updated: Mar 02, 2026

This quick tutorial will walk you through creating an account, publishing your first post, and setting your site live.

What is Mykro and Mykro Studio?

Mykro is an ecosystem of Content Operations Systems (COS) that combine infrastructure, creation platforms, distribution channels, and planning tools for individuals and teams who produce content as a critical part of their business.

Mykro Studio is the first Mykro product. It is designed for publishing written content as digital assets, including blog/article posts, email newsletters, and social media content.

Future Mykro products will expand into additional content formats such as audio and video, as well as distribution channels like streaming services and podcast platforms.

1. Create a Mykro Account

To get started, sign up on the Mykro Studio website by clicking the “Sign Up” button in the top-right corner of the page.

On mobile devices, the “Sign Up” button is located at the bottom of the mobile menu, which can be opened using the hamburger icon in the header.

    • At least 8 characters

  • Documentation and help links are located at the bottom of the sidebar.
  • The settings (cog) icon in the top-right corner opens your account settings.
  • The bell icon opens your notifications page.

Note: At the bottom of the window is the Status Panel, which displays your current plan and account status. If your account status shows “Restricted,” there was an issue with payment confirmation. Feature access will be limited until the issue is resolved.

Navigate to the “Onboarding Checklist” in the sidebar. All items under Required Onboarding must be completed before your account can be set to live.

4. Create Post Metadata

Before publishing a post, you must create required metadata.

At minimum, you must have:

  • One Author Persona
  • One Post Category

4a. Create an Author Persona

Go to the “Authors” page and select “Create Author.” Complete and submit the form.

Note: Author personas are not the same as users. A Mykro user may publish under multiple personas, but each persona belongs to only one user account.

4b. Create a Post Category

From the “Categories” page, select “Create Category” and submit the form.

5. Publish Your First Post

Navigate to the “Posts” page and select “Create Post.” A new window will open displaying your post in the Mykro Text Editor.

Above the editor is a collapsible details panel that includes:

  • Headline
  • URL slug
  • Images
  • Metadata fields
  • Author and category selectors

Be sure to select at least one author and one category.

Using the AI Manager

To quickly generate content:

  • Click anywhere inside the editor to activate the toolbar.
  • Select the AI Manager button (purple stars icon).
  • Choose Outline Builder.
  • Enter a 2–4 sentence description of your post.

Example:
“Create an article outline for the five most influential Generals and Admirals in U.S. history. Include sub-bullet points for each with key campaigns or battles they participated in, and highlight major professional achievements throughout their careers.”

After 5–10 seconds, a preview will appear. Select “Keep Text” to insert the outline into the editor.

Next:

  • Open AI Manager again.
  • Select Post Generator.
  • Click “Grab Editor Text.”
  • Submit.

Select “Keep Text” to insert the generated draft. Your content will autosave.

Finally:

Click Save in the details panel.

Click Publish

Select Publish Now

Note: Published posts cannot be edited directly. You must withdraw the post before making changes and republishing.

6. Set Your Account to Live

To make your site publicly visible:

  • Click the settings (cog) icon in the top-right corner.
  • Navigate to Settings.
  • Set:
    • Account Status → Live
    • Site Visibility → Visible
    • Click Save

Your site is now live and accessible on the internet. If you are using the Mykro API exclusively, you may set Site Visibility to “Not Visible,” but your Account Status must still be set to Live.
