Billing and Subscription

Category: Getting Started

Last Updated: Feb 25, 2026

1. Overview

All Mykro plans are subscription-based. Billing and payment processing are handled securely through Stripe.

Users can manage their subscription at any time by accessing the Stripe Customer Portal from the “Billing” page in the user dashboard.

From there, users may:

  • Upgrade their plan
  • Downgrade their plan
  • Cancel their subscription
  • Update payment methods
  • View invoices

2. Subscription Plans

All plans are billed on a monthly basis.

Access to Mykro features and product capabilities depends on the user’s active subscription plan. If a payment fails or a subscription becomes delinquent, the account may move to a “Restricted” status.

When in Restricted status:

  • Feature access may be limited or suspended
  • Publishing and distribution capabilities may be disabled
  • Account access may be partially or fully restricted until payment is resolved
  • Accounts return to “Active” status once payment is successfully processed.

3. How Billing Works

Billing occurs at the start of each subscription cycle. Services remain active through the end of the billing cycle unless canceled.

Users are automatically charged at the beginning of each cycle unless a free trial is offered during initial signup.

Example: If you subscribe on March 15, you will be charged on March 15 and your subscription will remain active through April 15.

Cancellation During a Billing Cycle

If you cancel your subscription before the end of your billing cycle:

  • Service access will cease immediately.
  • A partial, prorated refund may be issued for the unused portion of the billing cycle (subject to review and eligibility).

See the Refunds section below for additional details.

4. Upgrading Your Plan

To upgrade:

  • Navigate to the dashboard settings menu.
  • Select “Billing.”
  • Click the Customer Portal link to access the Stripe Customer Portal.

Within the portal:

  • Select “Update Subscription.”
  • Choose your desired plan.

When upgrading mid-cycle:

  1. The cost of your current plan is prorated.
  2. The new charge reflects the price difference for the remainder of the cycle.
  3. On the next billing date, your payment method will be charged the full recurring price of the upgraded plan.

5. Downgrading Your Plan

To downgrade:

  • Navigate to the Stripe Customer Portal (see instructions above).
  • Select “Update Subscription.”
  • Choose your desired plan.
  • Downgrades take effect immediately unless otherwise specified.

    Important considerations:

    • Feature access and usage limits associated with the higher plan will be removed upon downgrade.
    • If the downgraded plan costs less than the current plan, no additional charge will occur during that cycle.
    • The full recurring price of the downgraded plan will be charged at the next billing date.

    6. Canceling Your Subscription

    To cancel:

    • Navigate to the Stripe Customer Portal.
    • Select “Cancel Subscription.”

    Upon cancellation:

    • Access to product features will cease immediately.
    • Your account may remain accessible in a limited state.
    • You may reactivate a subscription at any time by selecting a new plan.

    7. Invoices

    • An invoice is emailed upon initial checkout.
    • Subsequent invoices are generated at the beginning of each billing cycle.
    • All invoices can be accessed through the Stripe Customer Portal.

    8. Refunds

Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.

    Refund eligibility guidelines:

    • If a subscription is canceled during the first billing cycle of a plan that included a free trial, a refund will not be considered.
    • Refund requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the cancellation date.
    • Refund requests submitted after 14 days will not be considered.

To request a refund, contact: billing@mykroweb.com.

Mykro reserves the right to approve or deny refund requests at its sole discretion.

    9. Security and Payment Handling

All payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Mykro does not store full payment card details on its servers. Payment data is handled directly by Stripe in accordance with industry-standard security and compliance practices.
